Manitoba Blue Cross receives United Way’s Campaign Chair Award for second year in a row
Manitoba Blue Cross is honoured to have once again received United Way Winnipeg’s Campaign Chair award for our 2022 campaign.
The highest level of recognition an organization can receive through United Way, this year’s award was presented to just three workplaces in the city that demonstrate strong growth in campaign participation and contributions, as well as leadership. This is the second year in a row Manitoba Blue Cross has received this honour.
“The United Way has always played an active role in our community, but these past few years have truly emphasized how vital they are in helping those most in need,” said Benjamin Graham, president and CEO of Manitoba Blue Cross. “As we work to improve the health and well-being of Manitobans, it’s crucial that we do our part in supporting their excellent work. Our campaign couldn’t have happened without our dedicated committee, and I’d like to especially thank our returning chair, Michelle Aarts, for her stellar leadership.”
This year, Manitoba Blue Cross employees broke a company record and raised over $120,000 including corporate match.
